Interviewing Project Points: 100 Students either individually or in small groups (per the discretion of the instructor) will interview a pharmacist or a pharmacy technician in different areas of pharmacy (independent retail, chain retail, hospital, infusion, nursing home, compounding, and E-pharmacy.) The interview will include the following: 1. Technician responsibilities (What do you expect from the technician?) 2. Technology used 3. Education required (for pharmacists and for pharmacy technician) 4. Legal requirements (What type of licensing? Do you have specialty licenses? Do you need more than one license? Do the technicians have to be licensed?) 5. References used for each specific area (reference books used?) Students will then compose a paper consisting of what they learned from the interview. The paper will be 2-3 pages in length, typed written, in APA format. The paper must cover all of the areas listed above.
