Question 1 Allocating Common Costs What are common costs and what are the two methods that can be used to allocate them? Do you think one method is more equitable than another? Explain your reasoning. Discuss a specific common cost and describe the allocation under each method. Question 2 Allocating support department costs? What are the issues with allocating support department costs? What methods are available to do so? Which method do you think is the most appropriate? What are the pros and cons of this method?
